Privacy Policy

Boreas (Kiarash Sahebi), Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Last updated 23 August 2026.

Boreas Mail is a personal email assistant. It connects to a Google account you explicitly authorize and helps you read, summarize, reply to, and send email. This page explains exactly what it accesses and how that information is handled.

What we access

With your consent, Boreas Mail requests the Google gmail.modify scope on the account you connect. It uses this only to: read your incoming messages so it can summarize them for you; draft and send replies and new messages on your instruction; and apply labels to keep your inbox organized. It does not delete your mail.

How your information is used

Message content is processed to produce the summaries and drafts you ask for. To generate that text, message content may be sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to produce your summary or draft, and is not used by them to train models. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone except as needed to operate the features you request.

Storage

Your Google authorization token is stored securely and used only to provide the service. We retain the minimum needed to operate; you can have your data and access removed at any time by contacting us.

Google Limited Use

Boreas Mail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

You may revoke Boreas Mail's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
